Metal Legends Reign Supreme At Download Festival As Rain Is Held Of For Final 2 Days

Despite, heavy and almost constant rain on the 1st 3 days of last weekends Download Festival, Metal gods Metallica, and the newly (almost full) reunion of Classic Rock legends Black Sabbath seemed to have stemmed the rain for the final 2 days.

Renamed Mudload 2012 by some of the bands backstage, This years Download Festival was still not a washout for many metal fans (My-self included), Despite some critisms of the Friday line up – Which had a far more modern ‘Electronic’ feel to it with Mainstage Headliners Prodigy backed up by Chase And Status, 2nd stage headliner Slash, Saturday headliners Metallica, and festival closer Black Sabbath defiantly made up for any short-falls in my mind.
