Single Review By Ian S. Russell

Intro:
Originally recorded for W.A.S.P's previous album Dominator,
'Burn' is a cover of the famous 'Mark III' line up of Deep
Purple. Its very rare we review covers here, but for an iconic
band such as W.A.S.P we're willing to bend the rules a little -
add Deep Purple into the mix and we will blow the rule book
up!

Track Review:
A
s expected, the intro is nothing less than a heavy, classic
rock guitar opening, combined with the hair-metal vocals of
Blackie Lawless - the only original member of the band.
Compared to the 'Deep Purple' version the only clear
difference is the vocals, there is a much heavy guitar
distortion, of cause, but no clear changes is timing or rhythm,

Sadly this cover simply doesn't impress me much, that is
most likely because I'm not a huge deep purple fan, and the
cover doesn't differ enough from the original for me.
